ITV2 show Love Island (the dating reality show) has featured our Horse Space Hoppers in their Ladies Day Task.

The ITV Studios productions used the Horse Space Hoppers to race around the track to determine a winner for the daily task.

Space Hoppers Makes #1 In Fundraising Ideas Chart – Thursday 06 August, 2015
The British Heart Foundation have graffitied the quirkiest fundraising ideas across London for new campaign.

From spacehopper racing to wearing lobster claws for hands, the BHF revealed the top 10 most weird and wonderful ways people have fundraised to help support their life saving research.

They’ve used clean graffiti to reveal some of the 10 quirkiest ways people have gone above and beyond to fundraise for them at key streets across the capital. They are highlighting the wonderful ways to celebrate the launch of their new fundraising guide.

The clean graffiti messages have been installed in 60 secret locations to highlight the urgent need for more people to organise their own off-the-wall fundraising events and Raise Funds Your Way to help support the life saving research.

With everything from pirate promenades to gigantic flower towers, the list highlights the extraordinary lengths people go to help fight heart disease. But they urgently need more people across the UK to organise their own unique fundraising events to help transform the lives of the 7 million people fighting a daily battle with cardiovascular disease.

Top 10 quirky fundraisers

1.Spacehopper racing – Jenna Rogers raised over £500 with a spacehopper race in memory of her dad, Steve, who died from an undiagnosed heart condition.

2.Wearing lobster claws for 72 hours – Jack Smith raised over £500 by wearing lobster claws on his hands for 72 hours.

3.Giving up something different every day for three weeks – Alec Rickard gave up something different every day for three weeks to raise money for us including wearing underwear and using shampoo.

4.Building a 26ft flower tower – Edward Hayes built a 26ft flower tower in front of his house to sell plants. He hopes to raise £3,000.

5.Wingwalking on a plane at 81 years old – Dare-devil Jean Humphreys took to the skies and stood on a plane flying at 90mph in memory of her husband.

6.Pirate themed promenade Rebecca Shepard raised over £2,500 with a Pirates on the Prom fancy dress event.

7.Truckers in tutus – Lisa Power, a truck driver and 45 of her fellow truckers have raised almost £11,000 by wearing red tutus to work.

8.Bath Tub Push – David and Irene Dickie pushed a bathtub full of balloons around the town centre.

9.Journeying across 40 countries – John Braybrooke and his son Peter from Tewkesbury drove 12,000 miles through 40 different countries.

10.Clothes swap shop – Nicolette Bosworth raised over £1,000 by organising a clothes swap shop after being diagnosed with the heart rhythm disorder atrial fibrillation.
